Women's Health - Building a Strong Foundation, Part 2
- Dr. Judith Smith
Even with best efforts to have a "well-balanced diet", it is near impossible to consume all the vitamins and minerals the body needs throughout the day from food sources alone. Fortunately, there are vitamin and mineral supplement products to help make up the difference to help achieve a healthy diet. AdvoCare products provide an excellent source for vitamin and mineral supplementation because of the high quality of ingredients that go into products contribute to excellent absorption and bioavailability (a.k.a. available for body to use!).
A popular catch phrase many of you have heard is "The Core Three" - which is a good place to start building your foundation to good health. "The Core Three" includes: CorePlex with or without iron (pre-menopausal, child-bearing, pregnancy women - likely need extra iron); OmegaPlex and Calcium Plus. Regardless of where you are starting today, all women need at least these three to start and maintain a foundation to good health.
The "Core Three" will help correct what is missing from a health diet however is doesn't negate the negative foods that are consumed. The next step in building a strong foundation for good health, is eliminating the "empty calories" and poor food choices. For most women, it is the snacks choices that "getcha" during the day. AdvoCare offers healthy snack choices such as the recently introduced "Double Chocolate Bars" to get that "chocolate fix" many women desire mid-afternoon everyday! Often women reach for a "snack" purely because need to get some "energy" to keep up with the one hundred and one tasks juggling throughout the day and AdvoCare offers a very low calorie, high energy source in its popular energy drink "Spark" as well as the new convenient "SLAM" that is portable to throw in a purse or bag while on the run. Both "Spark" and "SLAM" provide a sustained source of energy to jump start the morning or keep you going in the afternoon, or perhaps both for all you super busy women out there!
Initiating the "Core Three" supplementation and choosing healthy snacks will start to build the key components to strong foundation for good health but let's not forget the lifestyle building blocks too. Other posts will go into much depth and detail, so I will just mention it once here briefly. Every woman needs to also get into a regular exercise routine, drink enough water, and most of all get enough sleep to optimize benefits of a healthy diet!
