AdvoCare Rehydrate Label Update

April 2018

Have any changes been made to AdvoCare Rehydrate®?
There were no changes to the product or formula itself, but its label has been updated to follow new FDA labeling rules. As you have probably seen on other food products you purchase, there is a new layout and design for Nutrition Facts Panels per FDA regulations. AdvoCare will be updating all product labels for compliance with these new rules over coming months. For many products, including Rehydrate, some nutrient units of measure and %DVs values have changed based on revised rules.

Why did the directions for use change to 12oz of water per serving?
According to the FDA, recent food consumption data show that some serving sizes should be revised to be more consistent with current daily diets. Since consumers typically drink 12oz rather than 8oz of a beverage in one eating occasion the serving size was increased. The amount of powder per serving remains the same - the only change is in the suggested amount of water that the product is mixed into (from 8oz to 12oz).

What is different in the new nutrition facts panel?
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has finalized a new Nutrition Facts label for packaged foods that will make it easier for you to make informed food choices that support a healthy diet. The updated label has a fresh new design and reflects current scientific information.
