Brian Connolly serves as the Chairman of the Board and CEO at AdvoCare. He shares the CEO title with Reid Ward and together they lead the direction and day-to-day strategy for AdvoCare. Brian brings an intensity and passion for empowering entrepreneurs and business innovation to an already highly successful company. Brian’s experience includes 30 years at Avon Products, Inc., as well as Board seats on the Avon Foundation for Women and the Direct Selling Association, where he served as Chairman for one term. Brian was also inducted into the Direct Selling Association Hall of Fame. He is committed to high-quality products and customer service, transparency and doing things the right way. The son of Irish immigrants with seven siblings, Brian's favorite motto is, "Do the right thing when no one is looking," a tenet he picked up from his parents and continues to pass on to his three sons.
Reid has been a trusted advisor to the Ragus family for more than a decade and joined the corporate team in 2012 supporting AdvoCare's exponential growth. Reid shares the CEO title with Brian Connolly and together they lead the direction and day-to-day strategy for the company. His operational knowledge of the business is vast as he’s overseen the last two capital projects for AdvoCare – building a second Distribution center in nearby Richardson, TX as well as a first-rate training center attached to AdvoCare's headquarters. He was named to the Board of Directors in 2016. Reid came to AdvoCare after 30 years in Commercial Construction Industry. Reid lives with his wife Paula in McKinney, TX.
Throughout her 15-year tenure at AdvoCare, Allison has been instrumental in ensuring ethics and integrity remain the cornerstones of the company. Allison oversees multiple integral departments for AdvoCare including Legal, Business Ethics, Community and Government Relations and Corporate Communications. In addition, she serves as the company spokesperson. With a hands-on management style, Allison works closely with the field and executive committee to ensure a long future for AdvoCare and the Independent Distributors who sell its products nationwide. Prior to joining AdvoCare, Levy served as in-house counsel for American Express in the Merchant Acquisition Division, while also working in private practice in the area of civil litigation. Levy resides in Dallas, Texas with her husband and three sons.
Sharon joined AdvoCare in 2018 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance, banking and operational management. Sharon leads the team dedicated to establishing AdvoCare’s financial strategy and maintaining the company’s financial well-being. Along with managing AdvoCare's current domestic and international financial operations, she and her team also evaluate the company's strategy and goals to support its global expansion efforts. Some of her professional accomplishments include being named the Dallas Business Journal 2010 CFO of the Year and D CEO Magazine 2011 CFO of the Year. In addition to her role at AdvoCare, Sharon is a guest lecturer for MBA programs at the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of Houston. Sharon and her husband Steve live in Dallas with their two rescue dogs, Shiloh and Zion.
Patrick is an industry veteran with 16 years’ experience at multiple direct selling companies across the country. For the past nine years, Patrick has brought his expertise and skills to AdvoCare, first serving as a Sales Vice President and most recently as the Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales managing a team of dedicated and committed professionals focused on building and training the best group of Independent Distributors in the industry. As the SVP of International Sales, Patrick is responsible for growing the AdvoCare brand globally and manages the Digital Communications team, including the web, email and social media functions. Patrick has also held the role of Vice President of Marketing and is responsible for much of the success the AdvoCare brand has seen over his time with the company. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, Patrick will continue to play a pivotal role.
Ulli is bringing two decades of integrated marketing, strategic consulting and corporate finance experience to AdvoCare. Overseeing the AdvoCare brand, she leads key teams including Product Marketing and Creative. Ulli’s passion is in creating a brand universe based on consumer insights and brand building, true to the existing brand DNA - both with a focus on company strategy and business results. Ulli has worked at some of the leading companies in the country including Fossil Group, CHANEL, and L’Oreal. Her extensive knowledge in beauty, fashion and luxury brands brings important attributes to product innovation, marketing and promotion as AdvoCare continues to grow in the U.S. and abroad. Ulli lives in Dallas with her husband Mike and their four pets.
Rick joined AdvoCare in 1998, working closely with founder Charlie Ragus to build the AdvoCare sales organization. Coming from a successful personal practice in the financial services industry, Rick began at AdvoCare as National Sales Director, traveling the nation to work with Distributors in the field. Today Rick leads the nine-person sales team covering the U.S. He also manages the team responsible for training content and leadership development for corporately hosted events touching 75,000 plus Distributors annually, and guides all training resources found at AdvoCare.com. Rick is a natural speaker and mentor, continuing to work closely with the field to ensure AdvoCare has the best trained Distributors in the industry – a guiding principle set forth by Charlie Ragus at the founding of AdvoCare. Rick and his wife Jan reside in the Dallas area, and are proud parents and grandparents.
With 30 years in professional accounting, Robert has been with AdvoCare since 2013. He leads a team of 11 people focused on the day-to-day accounting and finance initiatives for the company. During his tenure, he helped set the financial groundwork for AdvoCare’s entrance into international markets and the AdvoCare Foundation. In addition, he and his group work hard to ensure AdvoCare and our Independent Distributors are maintaining compliance with state and local taxing authorities. Robert has also held management positions at Texas-based tech companies Genband and NEC Corporation of America, along with defense contractors Intercontinental Manufacturing and Electrospace Systems Inc. Robert is a CPA and lives with his wife and son in Frisco, TX.
Christina oversees all AdvoCare incentives, trainings and annual Distributor recognition. Managing a team of 12, Christina’s group organize up to 50 events annually with attendance from 10 to 20,000. Throughout her tenure at AdvoCare, Christina has demonstrated immeasurable impact to the business. Christina’s acute business instincts and knowledge of the company culture, have set AdvoCare on a course of excellence. Bringing innovative ideas to how we interact with the field and Leadership through corporate events, she has transformed what events mean to AdvoCare. Prior to joining AdvoCare, Christina built her career in various management roles in the travel, events and leisure industry, most recently at AT&T Cowboys Stadium. Christina is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and lives in Dallas, TX with her husband and stepson.
Ron has been with AdvoCare for more than 20 years, working directly with founder Charlie Ragus. A U.S. Air Force Veteran, Ron brings his decades of experience and leadership skills to AdvoCare, mentoring Distributors in the field, as well as corporate employees. Ron’s key area of focus is in identifying AdvoCare’s “Rising Stars,” mentoring future AdvoCare leaders. Ron also developed AdvoCare’s DebtBuster system – an innovative look at personal finances and paying off debt. For 20 years before joining AdvoCare, Ron taught leadership skills, goal-setting concepts, time management and team building both as a private consultant and as president of Jim Rohn Productions. Ron is the recipient of AdvoCare's Spirit of AdvoCare Award. He has four grown children, and he and his wife, Shari, live in Dallas, Texas, with their two dogs.
Todd manages the day-to-day legal operations, and oversees the Human Resources and Communications functions at AdvoCare. He has a broad corporate background through his experience with companies like Bank of America, CoreLogic and Excel Communications. Todd is also a Past President of the Dallas Fort Worth Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Todd takes an ethical and collaborative approach to providing legal counsel. He has a reputation for building strong professional relationships and promotes trust, fairness and selfless dedication to the AdvoCare corporate team and founding family. Todd was raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and the Southern Methodist University School of Law where he met his wife, Laurie. The couple live in Dallas with their three sons.
Swarna has been an integral part on the IT team at AdvoCare since 2002 and was promoted to Vice President and Chief Information Officer in 2017.
With experience across multiple disciplines, including Infrastructure, IT Security, Business Intelligence, Database Administration, Web Application Development and more, Swarna has been a key player in assuring the success of multiple product launches and the implementation of new programs.
Throughout her 15-year tenure at AdvoCare, Swarna has played an instrumental role in many major projects, including the launch of AdvoCare’s Preferred Customer program, where she lead the team who changed more than 70 percent of the back end code in just three months, several web refreshes of advocare.com, and more.
What Swarna loves most about working for AdvoCare is her team. Swarna credits much of the success of the IT department to the hardworking and dependable team members. To Swarna, teamwork is an essential ingredient to the continued success of AdvoCare’s IT Department. She is a leader who truly exemplifies the principles that guide the success of AdvoCare, its people and Distributors.
Swarna and her team will continue to help improve the customer and Distributor experience, while adopting leading technologies to provide safe and state of the art platforms to meet AdvoCare’s business goals.
As an active and dedicated member of her local community, Swarna resides in Irving, Texas, with her husband and two sons, where they volunteer regularly as a family.
Deb has been with AdvoCare for more than 10 years, helping train and support the AdvoCare Distributors across the country, with an emphasis in the Western region. She started in direct sales in 1977 as a Distributor with Tupperware and grew her business to the top levels for almost 30 years. In 2006 she started at the corporate office at AdvoCare, to help key leaders in the field grow their businesses. She has advised many of the top leaders at AdvoCare and has a passion for continued commitment to believing in people before they believe in themselves. Deb has four grown children and lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband Humphrey.
Stephen has been with AdvoCare since 2011. His work with the field has helped drive the business of AdvoCare forward. In his role, he focuses on supporting the activities of the salesforce, providing sales and business training, Distributor development, leadership development, and Distributor relations. Stephen works closely with other departments, as the liaison between the corporate office and the field, helping drive Distributor communications, and advising on business initiatives. His passion for investing in others is felt throughout the organization. Stephen graduated with a Bachelor of Science from East Carolina University and a Masters from University of Dallas. He lives with
his wife, Pamela, in Dallas.
Jeff serves as the Vice President for Scientific Operations at AdvoCare. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the direct sales industry, Jeff leads many critical departments at AdvoCare including Research and Development, Project Management, Quality and Regulatory. Jeff started his career as a manufacturing and chemical engineer before moving to Amway to help with product and process development. He managed several teams during his tenure with Amway in technical affairs, QA and R&D before moving on to Nerium International to lead their Global Quality Compliance. With a passion for getting results, Jeff works with teams across AdvoCare to ensure quality products get to the customers, processes are established and that AdvoCare is meeting all Good Manufacturing Practices. Jeff and his wife Deanne live in Plano, TX and have three grown children.
