Our Legacy

Charlie Ragus founded AdvoCare in 1993. He chose the name AdvoCare to communicate his commitment to be an advocate who cared.


Guiding Principles

Charlie Ragus developed 10 principles that guide our direction and are the basis of our success:

At AdvoCare, We Build Champions. As CEO, Brian Connolly brings an intensity and passion for empowering entrepreneurs and business innovation to an already highly successful company.

The Independent Distributors at AdvoCare are some of the best in the industry. Charlie Ragus knew through hard work, dedication, mutual loyalty and respect, AdvoCare would be best-in-class. Through Brian's hands-on leadership style and dedication to AdvoCare and its people, he will protect Charlie's legacy and continue to guide future generations of Champions. Brian brings more than 30 years of experience at Avon Products, Inc., as well as Board seats on the Avon Foundation for Women and the Direct Selling Association. He is committed to high-quality products and customer service, transparency and doing things the right way. The son of Irish immigrants with seven siblings, Brian's favorite motto is, "Do the right thing when no one is looking," a tenet he picked up from his parents and continues to pass on to his three sons.

AdvoCare takes our community involvement seriously and will be continuing to grow our programming. Our ability to invest socially in our communities is made possible by our AdvoCare Independent Distributors who make a positive difference in their own communities. To strengthen our commitment, AdvoCare is establishing the AdvoCare Foundation to continue the great work and legacy of the company and founder Charlie Ragus.
